Characteristics

This side table or small desk has a rectangular top with moulded edge and rounded corners, over two short frieze drawers with turned handles, on turned legs. The top has been restored sensitively, but displays the patina of much love and use, as shown in the images. It's also missing a small section of moulding to the lower left corner and on the right hand drawer knob, again as evidenced in the photos.

A Regency Rosewood sofa table, the top with drop ends and canted corners, cross banded with satinwood and line inlaid with brass, over two short frieze drawers, with matching faux drawers to the reverse, on four turned stems, above a quatraform base with four down swept legs terminating in brass hairy paw feet and castors.

With some minor scuffing and staining to the top. A few areas of veneer restored by Anthony Beech.
