Characteristics

A walnut dining table by renowned cabinet makers Selbat, dating from c. 1900. With one central removable leaf and a wind out mechanism with handle, seating 4 when closed and 6 - 8 when extended. It stands on four elegant legs with castors and has elegant carved edges. The walnut has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. With the manufacturer's name and number 9641 on the underside of the central insert.
